UAE legal framework
Nuva Resources conducts its business in accordance with the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), including federal commercial, anti-money laundering, sanctions, consumer protection and data protection legislation. The Site is operated from and governed by the laws of the UAE.
DMCC membership and bylaws
Nuva Resources is based at the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a globally recognised free zone and commodity trading hub. As a DMCC member company, we comply with DMCC company regulations, operating rules and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CTF) requirements.
Licensing and compliance
We maintain the licences, registrations and approvals required for our activities within the DMCC and the wider UAE. Our operations, governance and reporting are structured to meet the standards expected of an institutional commodity trading firm operating in a regulated free zone.
Anti-money laundering
Nuva Resources has implemented policies and procedures to detect, prevent and report suspicious activity in line with UAE AML/CTF laws and DMCC guidance. We conduct appropriate due diligence on counterparties, partners and transactions.
Sanctions and trade controls
We do not engage in transactions or activities that would violate applicable sanctions, embargoes or trade restrictions issued by the UAE, the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or other relevant authorities. All proposed transactions are screened against applicable restricted-party lists.
Market conduct
Nuva Resources is committed to fair, transparent and ethical market conduct. Our trading, contracting and disclosure practices are designed to comply with applicable market-abuse, fraud-prevention and commercial-integrity standards.
Reporting and cooperation
We cooperate with UAE and DMCC regulatory authorities, law enforcement and other competent bodies as required by law. We maintain records and reporting mechanisms to support regulatory oversight and audits.
Governing law
These regulatory disclosures are governed by the laws of the UAE, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from the Site or our operations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of the UAE and the DMCC dispute-resolution mechanisms, where applicable.
