01 — About Nuva Resources

Water as a deliverable commodity

Nuva Resources treats water as a physical commodity: we source it from our own purification and filtration assets, independently certified at both European and local standards and delivered against contracted specifications to institutional buyers like the Red Cross, governments and major charities.

Our platform combines technical innovation, sound compliance and a strong balance sheet: Nuva Resources owns the purification plants that deliver the only commodity we trade: clean water.

02 — Technology

Purification and filtration, engineered for contract-grade water

Nuva Resources uses modular filtration technology developed and patented in Norway. Depending on the physical, chemical and biologic analysis of the water quality from a certain source, Nuva Resources gets access to a container-based filtration module that addresses the challenges of that particular source, be that pH factor, heavy metal or oil contamination or biological agents.

The container-based, location-specific solution is designed for access to remote communities in developing countries with infrastructure challenges. The containers can be deployed by truck or helicopter, with long-range transfer by container ship, rail or truck.
01

Filtration Methods

Physical / mechanical filters (sediment filters, ultra- and microfiltration membranes), chemical filters (activated charcoal and ion exchange), pH correction with chemical reagents, advanced purification (reverse osmosis and UV light).

02

Issues Addressed

Our filtration solutions addresses microbiological pathogens (including Vibrio cholerae, Salmonella typhi, Escherichia coli (E. coli), Cryptosporidium & Giardia, Rotavirus, Hepatitis A and E), chemical contaminants (including Fluoride, Mercury & Cyanide, Lead & Cadmium, Petroleum Hydrocarbons, Nitrates & Phosphates, Arsenic) and physical pollutants (microplastics, suspended organic matter).

An automated set of sensors feeds telemetry data to a remote AI module that monitors water quality 24/7 and can trigger live adjustements to the filtration parameters.

03 — Team

Investors, scientists and engineers

Nuva Resources is run by a team spanning water engineering, hydrology, financial management and compliance - the disciplines needed to treat, certify and deliver water as an institutional-grade asset.

04 — Corporate Partners

Long-term institutional relationships

Nuva Resources works alongside the world's most trusted institutional actors in humanitarian and development markets. Our long-term partnerships with the Red Cross, the World Health Organisation and leading international donors give us the reach and governance standards to deploy clean water at scale where it is needed most.

We also maintain close ties with the University of Oxford and several African governments, combining academic rigour in hydrology and water management with the local regulatory and operational frameworks required to deliver water as an institutional-grade commodity.

Nuva Resources' business model hinges on long-term water off-take contracts with institutional partners. This mitigates counterparty risk in some of the world's most challenging jurisdictions.
